Our Campaign Storyends 26 Aug 2020, 11:59 PM
Whenever I'm feeling down, doodling helps me feel better. Given so much stress going on this period due to change in routines, I figured that there isn't a better period to share happiness than now! :)
I chose to fundraise for SAMH as I grew to realise the significance of mental wellness and resilience transiting to adulthood. Sometimes we might be oblivious to how stress has taken a toll on our mental health and that's not good. The team at SAMH aims to promote mental wellness for all, which I believe, is a cause worth fighting for.
My campaign aims to gift the spirit of encouragement through a simple surprise doodle, based on a quote that inspires you, as well as 3-5 of your favourite things in life. It can be for yourself, or even a little perk-me-up gift for a friend.
If you'd like to request for a doodle, you can DM me @coldminii on IG, or drop me an email at [email protected] and I will follow up from there.
After receiving the doodle and if you like what I've drawn for you, I would greatly appreciate it if you could donate to this worthwhile cause, at any amount within your means.
100% of funds raised here will go to SAMH.
Thank you for your time!
*Disclaimer: I'm not a professional illustrator, just a hobbyist :)
About The Charity
Your donation matters.
Your invaluable donation can empower and help our beneficiaries in their journey to recovery and mental wellness. With your kind support, we can continue to provide rehabilitative, outreach, and creative services and programmes to persons with mental health issues, and help them recover and reintegrate back into the community.
Your generous gift also counts in funding our efforts to raise public awareness about mental well-being and resilience, as well as reduce the social stigma, and promote acceptance and respect for persons with mental health issues.
Established in 1968, the Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH) is a non-profit and non-government social service organization, a registered charity under the Charities Act and an approved Institution of Public Character (IPC). We have also been awarded the coveted Charity Transparency Award in 2018 & 2019 by the Charity Council.
