We are Project Ancora: a team partnered with Causes for Animals, a non-profit animal welfare organisation. Through the platform of Citi-YMCA's Youth For Causes program, we aim to raise funds for Causes for Animals and spread awareness on the pertinent issue of animal welfare.
As the COVID-19 crisis continues to plague our world, it is accompanied by waves of uncertainty and anxiety. Shelters are close to full capacity in this critical period- caring for the voiceless animals that require daily meals. Street dogs no longer get fed daily by foreign workers who leave whatever little they have. What was already a struggle, has only been exacerbated by the current situation, and these animals need our help now more than ever. We need your help so that we can take care of these animals and provide food for them.
It is our obligation to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves.
