Our Campaign Story

ends 28 Apr 2020, 11:59 PM

Hello everyone!

Help us raise funds for The Courage Fund (run by the Community Chest) which supports individuals serving our community at the frontline of the Covid-19 crisis. Details of the Courage Fund's disbursements are in Minister Desmond's interview above.

While many of us responded with groans about having to work from home or miss out on epic dance parties, my friend Bel asked how we could be more useful. I wanted to celebrate Bel's courage in speaking out and calling us to think of how we can GIVE in support of our Covid-19 frontliners. Please join us and donate to The Courage Fund.

Courage means standing up for what is right in the world.
Courage means giving a voice to the vulnerable.
Courage means trusting in our faith, no matter what.

Dear Bel,

You've taught me what courage really means and I couldn't be more proud to be a part of your life. What did we ever do to deserve you!

In these trying times, I wanted to dedicate your birthday to the Courage Fund which will help the people facing the frontlines of this pandemic and the most vulnerable members of our community affected by Covid-19. Happy Birthday beautiful!!

Love you to the jelly and back,
Rebecca

About Campaign

The evolving COVID-19 situation has affected Singaporeans in one way or another, including individuals who are facing loss of income or families that are struggling with additional caregiving duties and additional expenses for essential items.

The Courage Fund was first established in 2003 when Singapore was hit by the SARS outbreak. Fellow Singaporeans donated generously to the Fund to support those who were affected by the outbreak. In this same spirit of uniting the community to support one another through difficult times, Community Chest is rallying the community to provide relief and support to those affected by the current COVID-19 situation.

Where Will Your Donations Go?

Donations will go towards supporting and providing relief to vulnerable individuals and families, including healthcare workers, frontline workers and volunteers, affected by the COVID-19 situation.
