Our Campaign Story
ends 30 Jun 2022, 11:59 PMAs part of Citi's 17th Global Community Day (GCD), Citi Supports ChildAid 2022 IA is a fundraising campaign organised by Internal Audit to support ChildAid, a charity concert that raises funds for needy children served by The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and The Business Times Budding Artists Fund. STSPMF gives students from financially-strapped families a monthly allowance for school-related expenses such as their meals and transport fares while BABAF helps socially-disadvantaged youth who are artistically talented pursue their passions in the arts. Since 2002, Citihas raised S$6.7 million for the two Funds. In 2020, Citi raised close to S$400,000 for ChildAid despite the challenges posted by the unprecedented global pandemic. The campaign demonstrates our commitment in giving back to the community through philanthropy and volunteerism, and we hope to bring our friends and partners alongside as we seek to make a positive impact on our community. We invite you to join us in our giving journey and any contribution from you will go a long way for our beneficiaries. Citi's philanthropic and volunteerism efforts were recognized by the Peoples Association with the Partnership Excellence 2020 award, and by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) as 2020 Champion of Good. Being a trailblazer in championing corporate giving, Citi was also named the Champion of Good by NVPC in 2018 and was the sole recipient of the Presidents Award for Volunteerism.
