Willing Hearts is a charity and soup kitchen run entirely by volunteers. From their premises in the Eastern part of Singapore, volunteers prepare about 6000 meals daily for the poor and vulnerable people all over Singapore. For many of these recipients, this is the only meal they can count on each day. Since Covid19 and the circuit breaker measures, the number of people needing these meals has increased to roughly about 9000 daily.
To support them on this initiative, we have created this page to drive donations to the organisation. Every dollar counts so do support with what you can! Let's step up for a good cause!
Cielo's Corporate Citizenship team has partnered with Willing Hearts since 2018. The Cielo Singapore team spent some time volunteering in the Willing Hearts soup kitchen over the years. It was through this that our awareness of and interest in Willing Heart's initiatives grew. In May 2020, Cielo donated 3300 reusable plastic food containers. Last year we raised SGD 3062 through the giving.sg platform to support them in their daily operations.
