Harvey the chubby fawn dog was enjoying a carefree life; welcoming rubs and gourmet pampering from anyone under the sun; until his regular afternoon snooze turned into a nightmare when he woke up with a broken left leg.
Excessive swelling, traumatic blisters and pain in his limping left leg aside, Harvey remained so cheerful when rescuing workers brought him to the vet. His love for human spared no one, including the vet and caring nurses.
Despite the ordeal and pronounced pain,Harvey showered them with kisses and wagging tails, while being so docile and compliant during the entire diagnostic and treatment procedures.
Harvey have to undergo reconstruction surgeries for his hips and knee cap. After which he had to be under exercise restriction for another 6 weeks while recuperating at the shelter. Due to his excessive weight, his anesthesia fee also ballooned! We are raising $6,200 to cover for Harvey's total medical bill.
As the ultra-sweet, sunny and affectionate boy he is,Harvey will make an excellent canine companion, showering his love to all family members, neighbours and visiting guests alike. If you can provide him with a forever loving home, please fill in this form http://bit.ly/2gOlYbo and come meet Harvey in pawson !
