Hi I'm Cheryl Miles, Radio DJ and cookbook author.
I believe that cooking is a wonderful way to bond with your family, which is why it breaks my heart to know that there are families here in Singapore who are deprived of this simple luxury amid rising food prices.
Please help me raise $5k for Food From The Heart's 62,000 beneficiaries, providing them with reliable, consistent and sustainable food support each month.
FFTH turns 20 in 2023, serving communities in need with 5 food distribution programmes. FFTH needs more supporters like yourself.
As a token of appreciation, you will receive a digital version of not one but TWO of my cookbooks featuring 45 delicious & nutritious recipes so you too can cook Food from the Heart for your loved ones.
"Good Vibes in the Kitchen, 20 Meatless Recipes for Kindness" contains
vegan versions of familiar favourites like satay, mac n cheese & shepherd's pie.
"Sexy in the Kitchen, 25 Recipes for Romance" features family style meals, date night dinners & easy recipes. My faves are the Chicken Teriyaki on Barley, Steak Stroganoff, Peanut Butter Brownies & Salted Caramel Semifreddo!
Please note, FFTH will email you the link to download these two cookbooks by the end of each week.
Donations $50 and above are tax deductible.
Thank you for your kind support & happy cooking!
About The Charity
Food from the Heart is a charity founded in February 2003 by Singapore-based Austrian couple Henry and Christine Laimer, who were inspired to channel surplus food from bakeries to families in need after they read an article about bread wastage.
Today, Food from the Heart is Singapore's foremost independent food charity with IPC status that makes a tangible and meaningful contribution to fighting hunger through bread rations and food packs. With the support of donors, food industry partners, and more than 10,000 volunteers, Food from the Heart made a difference to the lives of 59,500 people throughout Singapore by distributing S$7.22 million worth of food in 2021.
To alleviate hunger by providing reliable, consistent and sustainable food support to the less fortunate through food distribution programmes.
