Our Campaign Story

ends 30 Jun 2020, 11:59 PM

Hello! My name is Farah Farhana. If you know me, you would know that I'm very passionate in making a difference in the lives of cancer patients.

My family is stricken by cancer and I've lost my great grandmother, both my grandparents and uncle to it. Having experienced your loved ones battling cancer, I know it is tough and painful - physically, mentally and financially. My heart goes out to every single cancer patient and their family.

Being in a biotechnology company working on cancer treatments, I know how expensive treatments can be. These patients have to constantly deal with long and expensive medical expenses on top of the physical pain they go through. Their suffering becomes two level. As a result, some patients opt out of treatment they require due to inability to finance the treatments. One's quality of life or life's worth should not depend on one's affordability. Treatment should be accessible to everyone in need. Every single person should have a chance at a good life.

My late grandparents had always remind me to help others in need whenever I can. I hope to raise funds to help these patients to give them the care and medical needs they require, despite their affordability level, and to lift their financial burden. Donations will go straight to the NCC Cancer fund where they hold programs for patient care.

Giving is not just about making a donation, it is about making a difference. Join me in making a difference in the lives of cancer patients.

About The Charity

Someone in Singapore is diagnosed with cancer every hour. For many, a cancer diagnosis is an emotional and difficult time. The NCCS Cancer Fund helps support cancer patients in need.

NCCS helps over 26,000 cancer patients each year.

From the moment they are diagnosed and throughout their treatment we are with them, providing the very best care, by the best people, in the best place.

Donate today and help us give hope to people with cancer.
