Our Campaign Story
ends 31 Mar 2023, 11:59 PMHelping more children experience the joy of owning their own Birthday Celebrations.
As I celebrate my big 40, I would like to share this special day in a more meaningful way - by giving and sharing more birthday joys with more children who are excitedly waiting for their cake and present this year.
So instead of giving me gifts, I wish that you could help me to support this cause.
Each $50 donation can buy a child a cake plus a gift - but I think what the child gets is way more than these - it's also the joy of celebration, being remembered, celebrated and cared for.
My goal is to raise fund for 40 children this year. The children are between ages of 7-12 from low income families and Children's Wishing Well is the only charity in Singapore which provides a holistic education to help their beneficiaries become all-rounded individuals who reach their fullest potential.
A single donation of S$50 and above to Children's Wishing Well will be eligible for IRAS tax deduction.
About The Charity
Children's Wishing Well (CWW) is a registered charity and IPC founded in 2002. We have won the Charity Transparency Awards accorded by MCCY from 2019 to 2022.
We focus on supporting children and youth from low-income families, mainly through educational programmes and financial assistance. We reach out to over 1,000 beneficiaries each year via 2 full-service centres, 7 community sites, and collaborations with other charitable organisations. We depend solely on donations from private organisations and members of public to fund our services, while keeping all our programmes and services 100% free of charge for the children and families. We believe that by providing the children with educational support and more equal opportunities, they will be able to maximise their potential and get out of the poverty trap.
Cash donations above $50 are eligible for 250% tax deduction, if full name and NRIC/FIN/UEN number are provided. We will auto-file the tax deduction with Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) only if you provide your full name and NRIC/FIN number. We regret that we would not be able to process the IRAS auto-filing if you do not provide complete and accurate information. Please write to [email protected] if you wish to receive tax deduction receipt via email.
