Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Aug 2021, 11:59 PM

Nature and cycling in nature is something that has captured my heart especially in the last year when I started to rediscover Singapore through trails.

#CBChallengeSG: Cycle Breakers Challenge SG

I am inviting all of us who can get our hands on a bike, to get out and cycle in nature, on trails or hit the roads safely - let's celebrate our nation's 56th birthday by rediscovering our country on a bike.

To celebrate, leave your "My Singapore" mark of where you've been by creating "MYSG" with twigs, stones, recycled materials or whatever you can find in nature or around you.

Post your journeys on Instagram, tag #cbchallengesg, and do so for a good cause. #cycleforacausesg

Pledge $20 to cycle 20km, or $50 for 50 Km or $100 or more just because you love the sport and to support a cause that matters.

The chosen charity is where I work; Playeum. A children's charity that uses play and the arts to build 21st-century life skills- confidence, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication.

The funds raised will go to play and arts programmes that build and develop life skills especially confidence in children from marginalised backgrounds.

About The Charity

Playeum is an independent charity organisation (IPC) that champions children through play, creativity and the arts. We advocate for children's voices and the development of crucial 21st century skills such as problem-solving, communication, collaboration, critical thinking and more, through the play and the arts.

Through our deep-impact programmes and outreach that enhance social-emotional learning and confidence building, we work closely with children under our community partners such as Family Service Centres (FSCs), Children's Home & Child Protection Services, and as well as children with special needs to ensure that all children have the space and time to play creatively.
