This Christmas, please support two programmes of Caritas Singapore at Agape Village, the Buy a meal for a neighbour and Share A Pot.
For every $10 donation, we will provide a $8 meal to the poor in our community, who are under the care of our charities, on special occasions.
The remaining $2 will be used to cook a bowl of healthy soup for the senior citizens who participate in our weekly Share-A-Pot (of soup) exercise and healthy living programme.
Agape Village, located at 7A Lorong 8 Toa Payoh, is a one-stop social services hub for the poor and the marginalised. Caritas charities operating at AV provides access to financial assistance, counselling, therapy, respite care, free legal aid and skills training. We serve everyone, regardless of their race and religion. Programmes at AV include youth outreach, day activities for adults with special needs and Young-at-Heart (YAH) training for senior citizens.
