As part of the National University of Singapore Student Union's (NUSSU) annual Rag and Flag event, College of Alice and Peter Tan (CAPT) Flag is partnering AWWA Ltd.

The Asian Women's Welfare Association is registered and domiciled in Singapore and was registered as a society under the Societies Act on 16 June 1970. It was established as a charity on 7 November 1984. The Association is governed by its Constitution. AWWA Ltd runs multiple services for all age groups. AWWA School is their programme for school going children from ages 7 - 18. AWWA School provides special education to children with multiple disabilities and children with autism. They aim to maximise the potential for independence and improve the quality of life of students with special needs.

About The Charity

Community Chest is the philanthropy and engagement arm of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), which is the national co-ordinating body for social service agencies in Singapore.

The National Council of Social Service (the "Council") was established as a statutory body on 1 May 1992 under the National Council of Social Service Act (Chapter 195A amended in September 2000) (the "Act") and is domiciled in Singapore. The registered office of the Council and principal place of operations is at NCSS Centre, Ulu Pandan Community Building, 170 Ghim Moh Road #01-02, Singapore 279621.

The NCSS Charitable Fund was established on 1 May 2003, as an Institution of a Public Character (IPC) under the Charities Act (Chapter 37) and comprises all the charitable activities of NCSS, including the Community Chest.
