Our Campaign Story
ends 12 May 2021, 11:59 PMIn view of the COVID-19 Pandemic in Singapore, everyone being stuck at home has not been the best situation. A build-up of stress from work, family issues or plainly being cooped up at home, families have been strained and hurt. At the base of all this, there are children from marginalised backgrounds who suffer from neglect and negativity in this period.
Our campaign, Bursting The Bubble hopes to bring light to these social issues children face and give them their rightful voice when they need it the most.
Playeum helps children by acknowledging their voice, giving them a creative platform to imagine, create, and believe in themselves and by helping them grow and experience life with play and the arts. After COVID-19, Playeum will carry on to provide a platform and a safe space where they feel respected and cared for to have fun as a kid, and most importantly, stem their bright future.
About The Charity
Playeum is an independent charity organisation (IPC) that champions children through play, creativity and the arts. We advocate for children's voices and the development of crucial 21st century skills such as problem-solving, communication, collaboration, critical thinking and more, through the play and the arts.
Through our deep-impact programmes and outreach that enhance social-emotional learning and confidence building, we work closely with children under our community partners such as Family Service Centres (FSCs), Children's Home & Child Protection Services, and as well as children with special needs to ensure that all children have the space and time to play creatively.
