I've also met the many volunteers who offer their time, love and ears to these children helping build up their confidence and trust in society once more.
Hope to get my friends and family involved by letting others know of the various organizations who helps these children and bring to their attention how they can help - monetarily, volunteering or donation of items - and charity is never bad is it?

Registered under the Societies Act in 1962, our objective to aid children and young persons in need has remained fundamentally the same over the decades.
Through managing Melrose Home, we hope to provide a nurturing home away from home for vulnerable and disadvantaged children and teenagers between the ages of 3 to 18 years old. Most of whom have been referred from Ministry of Social and Family Development's Child Protective Service.
Continued support from donors is greatly appreciated so that we can continue to provide quality residential care and meals, therapeutic and developmental services, enrichment and recreational programmes, and facilities management for the betterment of our residents interests and needs.
