Ami, our in-house yogi, is attempting to do a headstand pose, targeting to raise S$688.

As this is an unfulfilled goal from last year, Ami is finally putting her head down to do it, and for a better cause. She hopes to unlock this achievement and take it to the next level!

If Ami is able to complete this challenge by the end of October, Brookfield Cares, under its donation matching program, will match all donations by Brookfield employees dollar-for-dollar.

Please support her cause and donate generously!

About Campaign

Since the onset of COVID-19, we have seen many people suffering from pay cuts and job loss, which has a rippling effect on both our mental and physical health. This prolonged pandemic has amplified the urgent need for food relief particularly towards the senior citizens and households from lower-income groups.

While we are not able to participate in any form of group volunteering given the current in-place restrictions in Singapore, Brookfield Cares is still keen to play a part and help the society in some way. This year, we are excited to launch Brookfield Singapore Fundraising Challenge 2021 in support of The Food Bank Singapore.

Brookfield Cares would like to call for anyone (the “Challenger”) who wishes to volunteer for a challenge to support our monetary donation to Food Bank. For every completed challenge, Brookfield will match dollar-for-dollar, under its donation matching program.

About The Charity

Established in 2012, The Food Bank Singapore is Singapore's first food bank and aims to be the prevailing centralised coordinating organisation for all food donations.

Our mission is to eradicate food insecurity of all forms in Singapore by 2025, by bridging potential donors and member beneficiaries through collection and redistribution of donated food.
We serve registered charity organisations or societies with a designated meal programme for low income and underprivileged individuals and families. Through a network of more than 370 such organisations of all sizes, we impact more than 100,000 families and over 300,000 people with all kinds of food; from fresh to cooked.

Our 370 member beneficiaries that include:
Family Service Centres (FSCs)
Senior Activity Centres (SACs)
Schools with students under Financial Assistance
Soup Kitchens
Various types of Homes (Nursing Homes, Children's Homes, Halfway houses)

In 2020, we redistributed 1.6 MILLION KG of food to people in need!
