Our Campaign Storyends 29 Apr 2023, 11:59 PM
I have been planning to celebrate my half a century on earth in a big way and have been hoping the group size limit can be lifted to accommodate more people in the celebration. Yes my wish was granted but no.. This plan has to be discarded as I just lost my mum.
So I have been thinking how else can I do to mark this memorable milestone. I chanced upon #pledgeyourbirthdaycampaign and decided that perhaps I can do some good.
Seeing my mum succumbing to cancer, I can feel the pain and anguish of both the patients and the caregivers. Why I choose to support Children Cancer Foundation is
Because Children with cancer are among the most vulnerable and helpless people
Because Children with cancer have the right to enjoy their childhood and life
Because Children with cancer deserve the chance to live their fullest
Because Children with cancer do not have the financial means to fight for themselves
Because Children with cancer are innocent and should not have to suffer unncessarily
So here I am appealing to you to also help support this group of children as well. This would be the most meaningful birthday present I would have received. Thank you all in advance.
