Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Jul 2021, 11:59 PM

In The Simplest Way, You Can Be A Hero. Indeed, we can all save the day in the simplest of ways. We hope to rally the nation's grateful hearts, and to instill in everyone a mindset that every effort counts. Have a Heart, Be Our Hero!

To commemorate World Red Cross Day, the Singapore Red Cross (SRC) will be organising Grateful Hearts 2021, our annual fundraiser from 8 May to 31 July 2021. This is a meaningful opportunity to come together as a community and to rally your business associates and customers to fundraise for lifesaving efforts!

Your kind and generous support will enable us to raise much-needed funds to sustain the following humanitarian services, essential to the vulnerable in Singapore:

Persons with severe disability
Red Cross Home for the Disabled provides residential, respite and day care services for 100 adults and youth with multiple disabilities, to ensure their physical, mental, emotional and social well-being.

Disadvantaged families (including children and youth)
Meals with Love provides monthly nutritious food to the skipped-generation, single-parent families and single-elderly
Stories for All reading programme for preschoolers to improve literacy
Young Hearts home/centre-based tuition, mentorship and holiday programmes for children and youth

Isolated elderly with little to no support
TransportAid makes 12,000 trips each year, bringing wheelchair-bound patients from low-income homes to and from their lifesaving healthcare eg. dialysis, diabetic treat
