Our Campaign Story

ends 31 May 2023, 11:59 PM

Hi all!

November is Caregiver Appreciation Month and the team here at Barknbake appreciates and acknowledges all of our caregivers who selflessly help those in need. Therefore, in celebration of caregiver appreciation month and the rebranding of our Tiong Bahru Cake Bar, we are raising awareness for Caregivers Alliance Limited (Singapore) to support caregivers of persons with mental health issues.

As the only dog-friendly takeaway coffee bar in Tiong Bahru, we want our coffee bar to be a place of comfort where caregivers can come on down to socialize with one another and meet the friendly dogs that visit us!

For every cup we serve, we will be donating $2 to CAL in support of this movement. Shoutout to Caregivers and loyal BNB customers! You are allowed to redeem a free cup of coffee when you flash your e-coupon to our Bark-ristas at Tiong Bahru (T&Cs apply).

We would greatly appreciate it if you could further our cause by making a contribution here on the giving.sg platform. Ultimately, any kind of help is never too small.

You have our gratitude and we hope to see you soon at our newly refurbished Tiong Bahru Bar!

About The Charity

Caregivers Alliance Limited (CAL) is a professional non-profit organisation in Singapore dedicated to meeting the needs of caregivers of persons with mental health issues and dementia through education, support networks, crisis support, tailored services and self-care enablement. While there are other organisations providing support to the community affected by mental health issues, only CAL focuses exclusively on supporting caregivers with professional services.

CAL was incorporated on 25 October 2011. Our founding members are Singapore Anglican Community Services, Caregivers' Association of the Mentally Ill and BinjaiTree Limited.

CAL is an approved Institution of a Public Character (IPC), which reflects that it is exclusively non-profit in nature. In 2019, CAL won the Charity Governance Award 2019 (medium charities category), awarded by the Charity Council in recognition of it having adopted the highest standards of governance, in line with the Code of Governance for Charities & IPCs.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
