Our Campaign Story

ends 16 Sep 2022, 11:59 PM

We are a group of students from Edgefield Secondary School wanting to fundraise for Autism Association (Singapore)(AAS), at the same time, raising and spreading awareness for individuals on the autism spectrum. These individuals do and see things differently, they often get looked down on and bullied, which they do not deserve. They cannot control what they do because of their Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but they are human too and deserve as much love and support as us. We created this campaign to hopefully bring the general public to realise how much the modern society overlooks autism, with the goal to raise funds for the AA(S) for them to develop better facilities for the autism community. All donations are greatly appreciated, if not, please try to spread around this campaign!

About The Charity

The Autism Association (Singapore) is a Social Service Organisation in Singapore, dedicated to supporting and serving individuals with autism towards maximising their potential, helping them lead meaningful and quality lives in society.

The Association is an independent charity that was formed in August 1992 by a group of parents. In January 1995, it was registered as a charitable organisation under the Charities Act, Singapore.

In July 1997, AA(S) was admitted as a member of the National Council of Social Service. It was also granted the Institutions of a Public Character status, allowing the Association to issue tax-exempt receipts for public donations.
