My passion to climb those huge mountains out there shouldn't just go waste to satisfy my passion but should help someone get a smile.
Mt. Kilimanjaro - A beauty that stands 4,900 meters high from its base to 5,895 meters above sea level. My endeavour to trek this beauty with all mind and soul starts on the 11th of February 2018. I will reach the Uhuru peak walking through the Machame route. A 6-day long trek into the woods, wildlife and much more unexpected excitements should be for a cause. Personally, this is the best challenge so far, Kilimanjaro requires much more physical and mental strength than my earlier treks. I need all your support to tackle Kilimanjaro and help every step bring a smile on someone's face.
All the donations that I have raised will go towards beneficiaries of NKF. NKF provides quality renal care at subsidised rates to more than 4,200 needy kidney patients. The monthly cost of dialysis treatment is about $2,500. At NKF, 99% of the patients receive subsidies for their treatment. 50% of the patients pay $0 and another 12% pay only $1 to $50 a month. This is only made possible from the donations and support that NKF is receiving from a caring community. Please support me, so together we can help these patients!
Wishing all a very Happy New Year
About The Charity
The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is currently supporting more than 5,000 kidney failure patients, about two-thirds of the national kidney failure patient population. Our patients are of the lower income group. Treating a patient costs over $2,000 a month, however, the treatment our patients receive is highly subsidised, with 74% paying $50 or less a month out-of-pocket.
NKF remains committed to journeying with our patients every step of the way in their treatment and rehabilitative care, advocating kidney health to prevent kidney failure and making a difference in the renal landscape to benefit the community.
Partner us in giving Life & Hope to our patients now!
All donations received through Giving.sg will be channelled to NKF General Fund, which will be used to provide subsidised dialysis treatment and holistic care for our patients.
