Millions of people had been affected by the two devastating earthquakes and dozens of aftershocks that hit the Turkey-Syria border.
The Singapore Red Cross (SRC) is running a donation campaign to pledge humanitarian aid to the Turkish Red Crescent (TRC) and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) to directly support their ongoing relief efforts. Displaced families are in urgent need of shelter, safe drinking water and hygiene essentials. Your donation will go towards supporting the needs of those affected by the earthquakes, including emergency shelters, first aid and food.

We call for your support towards the Singapore Red Cross (SRC)'s humanitarian response to the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that devastated Turkey and Syria. Your donation will go towards supporting the needs of those affected by the earthquake, including emergency shelter, first aid and food.
SRC has earlier pledged USD $50,000 each in humanitarian aid to the Turkish Red Crescent (TRC) and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) to directly support their ongoing relief efforts.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives and injury, as well as damage to property and livelihoods, arising from the devastating disaster, and are committed to supporting the emergency relief and recovery operations," said Mr Benjamin William, Secretary General/CEO of Singapore Red Cross, "We hope the people of Singapore will support our fundraising appeal, to bring hope and help to affected communities in Turkey and Syria."
