Our Campaign Story

ends 28 Feb 2018, 11:59 PM

As a milestone birthday comes close, I feel abundantly blessed for all that I have my life -my family, a job, financial stability, good health and good friends close by.

Please know that your presence at this celebration is the best present I could want. No other gift is necessary. It is a celebration of friendships and fun!

However, for those who feel compelled to send a token of your esteem and love please consider making a charitable donation to Sree Narayana Mission.

The one thing that birthdays always turn the focus on is AGE and this has been a subject of much contemplation for us as a family the last few years. With both Vani and I having aging parents in another country we feel very strongly about helping the geriatric population in Singapore.

Founded 1948, Sree Narayana Mission is one of the nation's leading charitable organizations, operating a range of welfare programs dedicated to helping the elderly. It runs a 224 bed Nursing home facility offering long term nursing care service and also have Senior care centres that provide non-residential nursing care for clients.

Please contribute any amount if you wish -you'd like rather than a gift for me . This would mean a lot to me . Thanks you all.

About The Charity

Sree Narayana Mission(Singapore) (SNM) is a charitable organization founded in 1948 with IPC status. In keeping with Sree Narayana Guru's teachings, SNM Singapore provides a wide range of social service programmes for the less privileged regardless of race, language or religion.
Since its inception, it has grown into a leading voluntary welfare organization in the Integrated Long Term Care(ILTC) sector. SNM Singapore operates a 224 bed nursing home( Sree Narayana Mission Nursing Home and two Senior Care Centres for the elderly at Yishun & Woodlands). SNM Singapore also manages Meranti Home, a welfare home for male destitute individuals in need of psychiatric care. To meet the needs of the wider community, SNM Singapore provides social assistance and community outreach programmes such as educational financial assistance, befriending services ,and The Lend-A-Hand Project. This is a social assistance programme developed in collaboration with the Social Service Office (SSO) Yishun, in support of single-parent households in the community. The programme aims to uplift the well-being of the household with single parent through regular contact, befriending and support when they come to SNMH. Every third Saturday of each month, they are provided a range of household provisions to select from, to alleviate part of their financial burden while our volunteers engage with the parents. SNM provide all logistical and operational support for each session.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
