Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Dec 2022, 11:59 PM

In 2022, we celebrated Applied Materials' 55th Anniversary, and our technology leadership which has improved the lives of billions of people around the globe in their everyday lives. We believe that in this special year, it is even more important for us to uplift the community around us.

This year, Team AMSEA's participation in Singapore's Giving Week will benefit Singapore Association for Visually Handicapped (SAVH)'s Lighthouse School.

SAVH Lighthouse School provides education to students who have visual impairment or with hearing loss aged 7-18 years old. It aims to provide holistic education to students, and perform functional and vocational activities to fulfil their fullest potential.

Your contribution will enable SAVH Lighthouse School to continue offering individualized education plans to instruct students in communication, numeracy, literacy, daily living, orientation & mobility/independent travel skills. The Lighthouse School seeks to help every child become independent in their personal needs, be responsible in the community and engage in active and continuous learning.

Join us as we make a difference in the lives of each student! Any amount you can spare counts, donate now!

About The Charity

Community Chest is the philanthropy and engagement arm of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), which is the national co-ordinating body for social service agencies in Singapore.

As the hallmark of care and share, Community Chest aims to raise funds and engage the community so that social service agencies can focus on developing and delivering quality solutions and empowering the lives of those in need. Since 1983, Community Chest has been serving and in partnership with the people, public and private sectors to create a collaborative and impactful social service ecosystem for 39 years.

100% of your donations go towards helping the disadvantaged, as our fundraising and operating costs are covered mainly by Tote Board. Community Chest supports more than 100 social service agencies and over 200 critical programmes empowering the lives of those in need, including children with special needs and youth-at-risk, adults with disabilities, persons with mental health conditions, and seniors and families in need of support.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
