About Campaign
Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT) has been supporting women from low-income households towards gaining and sustaining livelihood opportunities since 2014. However, for many DOT women there has been little progression in social mobility despite their best efforts.
Many DOT women expressed minimum savings even after 6 months of employment. Research has shown that the mental stress associated with chronic debt and poverty hurts a person's ability to think clearly and make good decisions. Many women also have not been able to seek out allied healthcare services to manage things like chronic pain or mental wellness. Career mentoring opportunities are also not typically avail to women from these backgrounds.
Through 3 areas of support: A Debt Reduction/Savings Match Program, a Wellness Elective focusing on both Mental and Physical Health, and a Life Coaching/Mentoring Program, DOT aims to enable social mobility and overall improvement in the quality of life for DOT women with sustained employment for years to come.
