Our Campaign Storyends 18 May 2020, 11:59 PM
Many vulnerable individuals and families have been affected by COVID 19 situation in Singapore. Loss of jobs and lack of finances for basic necessities are just some of the social challenges that have arisen.
#SSPWECARE (The Invictus Fund) is the brainchild of Singapore Sports School Secondary 4 netballer Smita Ishana Rai to contribute to the nation's COVID 19 relief efforts.
Caring for the vulnerable should never cease, especially in uncertain times. Singapore has united to care for the vulnerable individuals and families affected by COVID-19. Just as generous donations to The Courage Fund has allowed us to provide relief to frontline workers and families affected by COVID-19, our social service agencies (SSAs) also need support to enable them to continue to provide critical social services to vulnerable individuals, families and communities, in the face of this challenge.
To do this, the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) has set up The Invictus Fund, which will channel public donations to SSAs that deliver critical services to vulnerable groups in our community.
Where will your donations go?
Donations will go towards enabling our SSAs to continue to provide critical social services. With your support, they can maintain operations, adopt technology and other business continuity initiatives to continue serving their users, and emerge stronger through this period.
In addition to financial support, NCSS is also working closely the SSAs to help them with business continuity and integration of technology into their operations and service delivery, to ensure access to critical social services continue to be available, especially to those who need it.
More details on The Invictus Fund will be made available soon. For further queries, please contact us at [email protected]
