Our Campaign Story

ends 14 Apr 2023, 11:59 PM

Not so long ago in a galaxy not so far far away....

A group of strong-willed members from the Group Affluent and Wealth Management Legal team banded together to participate in the Standard Chartered Home Run - an employee volunteering and fundraising campaign to support disadvantaged young people through Futuremakers.

Their team was known as "Physical 9" (not to be confused with Netflix's Phyiscal: 100) and comprises of Xavier Chen, Linus Yung, Shirley Tam, Rebecca Hui, Richard Lau, Joelle Poh, Celestine Lim, Tan Shengjie and Dexter Goh (me).

Futuremakers is the Bank's global initiative to tackle inequality and promote greater economic inclusion in our communities. In Singapore, all funds raised for Home Run will go towards Community Chest to support Futuremakers-themed programmes and projects.

From now to 14 April 2023, I am volunteering my time to walk/jog/run 40km and fundraise for this worthy endeavour. I hope you can support me and my teammates with a small donation to my page. This is of course voluntary, and any gesture will be very much appreciated. Lightsabers are welcomed too.

Thank you for your support and may the Force be with you!
