Our Campaign Story

ends 15 Jul 2021, 11:59 PM

Update as of 5 July 2021: 104.5 out of 120km

Support Alicia Lim, Arina Too, Christian Schwarz, and Meiko Kuansupa as we pledge to run 120km and raise USD300 to help rebuild lives in the Standard Chartered Home Run, a virtual running and fundraising campaign to support Futuremakers.

The Covid-19 and the great distance between London and Singapore cannot stop us from teaming up for this good cause. We are a group of four from the Digital Channels and Data Analytics teams at Standard Chartered.

Futuremakers is the Bank's global initiative to tackle inequality and promote greater economic inclusion for disadvantaged young people in our communities.

We are proudly volunteering our time to run and fundraise for this worthy endeavour, towards rebuilding lives.

We hope you can support us with a small donation to our page. This is of course voluntary, and any gesture will be very much appreciated.

About US:

Alicia run to keep fit, to inspire others and to help raise funds for our cause.

Christian usually runs or cycles 10km to office, which is a great carbon-neutral way to commute, clear one's mind and stay fit.

During the Covid-19 circuit break in Singapore, Arina has picked up running again after stopping for a very long time. And it has become her past time hobby to stay fit and happy!

Meiko is an avid hiker who turns urban-walker during Covid-19. Running and walking help her keep fit and ready for the next hike!
