Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Dec 2022, 11:59 PM

Great is winning every fight, every time. Reach for Great.

Join in our fundraising drive towards the Singapore Cancer Society's 'Return to Role' rehabilitation programme as we help the brave cancer survivors to win the fight, get back on their feet and continue to #ReachforGreat.

From virtual or physical rehabilitation sessions, to compression arm sleeves, your donation will make a difference for these brave cancer survivors.

Great Eastern will match a dollar-for-dollar corporate contribution and donate up to a total of S$50,000 in addition to the funds raised to support this cause.

This fundraising drive will run from now till 31 December 2022.
Every dollar counts when we give as a community.

About Campaign

1 in 4 Singaporeans are likely to develop cancer by age 75*, but many are not aware of the physical and emotional challenges faced by cancer patients and survivors in their daily lives.

Rehabilitation plays a huge part in addressing these challenges so that survivors can regain normalcy by resuming their day-to-day activities. SCS Return to Role is a rehabilitation programme that helps their brave survivors get back on their feet and return to their roles in the family; as parents, grandparents, spouses, students, caregivers, and many more.

About The Charity

Established in 1964, Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) is a self-funded voluntary welfare organisation which provides patient care services to needy cancer patients through its welfare, hospice home care, cancer treatment subsidy and rehabilitation support programmes. In addition, the Society also provides free cancer screening services and promotes cancer awareness and prevention through its public education and community outreach programmes.

For the past 57 years, SCS has extended support to over a hundred thousand beneficiaries through various services and programmes. The impactful programmes continue to contribute in SCS' four key strategic thrusts:

- To reduce the incidence of cancer
- To increase survival rates
- To improve the quality of life of cancer patients and survivors
