Our Campaign Story

ends 29 Aug 2021, 11:59 PM

I have been blessed to be part of the Management Committee ( MC) of REACH when it first started in 1998. After I left the MC, I continued to support it in different ways. It has been so meaningful to watch REACH Community Services grow fourfold over the last 23 years - from 1 Family Service Centre, to having a Youth Centre, Counselling Centre and Senior Centre in its fold. Today REACH offers their services to almost 4000 service users, enabing them to see that hope is within reach in their lives. There are so many stories of families and individuals who have overcome adversity to move forward in their lives.

More information on REACH can be obtained through this link:

I know several of the leaders in REACH personally - they are men and women with great passion and hearts to serve the vulnerable and to lead them from anxiety to hope.

Given the Covid situation, there are even more needs today in our community. Please support this REACH E Flag day to enable REACH to reach out to and support more vulnerable members of our community

Imagine I am coming round with a tin can - you would be putting coins and small notes in! So contribute whatever you feel comfortable and led to give. The great thing about a virtual tin is that you can provide your details for a double tax deduction for your donation. Amounts that are S$20 and above are eligible for the tax deduction.

About Campaign

In view of the resurgence of the COVID-19 Pandemic, REACH Community Services' (REACH) Flag Day 2021 once again be going online! This is to keep in line with the COVID-19 restrictions for the safety of the public, volunteers and our staff. REACH will host the REACH E-Flag Day 2021 online to raise funds for the Least, the Lost and the Lonely in the community. You can donate to support at-risk youths, vulnerable seniors, low-income families and distressed couples through this, especially difficult time.

About The Charity

REACH Community Services Society was founded in 1998 by Grace Assembly of God to help the Least, the Lost, and the Lonely in the community. REACH was registered as a charitable organisation in 1999 and has been an approved Institution of Public Character (IPC) since 2009. REACH offers community programmes and services through our six touchpoints. We strive to inspire hope and empower change in vulnerable families, distressed couples, at-risk youths, and lonely seniors through our four core pillars: Family Service, Counselling Service, Youth Service and Senior Service. We aim to support families through financial assistance, casework and counselling; build lasting marriages through marital counselling; empower at-risk youths through mentoring sessions and engagement programmes; and aid our elderly to age gracefully through community projects.
