Our Campaign Story
ends 15 Nov 2018, 11:59 PMI am raising funds for the Singapore National Stroke Association(SNSA) with a haircut.
Stroke survivors are my patients. I daily see their struggles with walking, thinking, talking, eating, grooming in varying degrees. They would welcome help with costs in transport and activities for social integration by SNSA.
Depending on how much you contribute, I will cut my hair as follows:
1. S$50 - I will get a pixie cut
2. S$150 - I will get a faux hawk
3. S$300 - I will get a crew cut
4. S$600 - I will get a buzz cut
5. S$1200 - I will go bald
All proceeds will go to SNSA activities. The cut locks will be donated to the United Kingdom's Little Princess Trust which makes wigs for children with cancer because SNSA does not need my hair:)
About The Charity
The Singapore National Stroke Association (SNSA) is the national support group for stroke survivors and caregivers. SNSA was formed by the very people they serve - stroke survivors and caregivers, with guidance from doctors and other health professionals.
SNSA organises programmes and creates opportunities for stroke survivors and their caregivers to acquire relevant knowledge and experience a sense of solidarity on their journey towards holistic rehabilitation.
We engage and educate the public on stroke, its risks, consequences and rehabilitation.
We are the voice and champion of the rights for stroke survivors and their caregivers.
