Our Campaign Story

ends 31 May 2023, 11:59 PM

In the wake of the recent earthquakes in Syria and Turkey, a crowdfunding campaign has been launched to raise funds for those affected by the disaster. The campaign aims to provide essential relief and support to those who have lost their homes and loved ones. With thousands of people displaced and in need of urgent assistance, every donation can make a significant impact. The funds raised will be used to provide food, shelter, medical aid, and other critical necessities. By contributing to this campaign, we can come together as a global community to support those in need and help rebuild the affected regions.

About Campaign

(Note: Donations to overseas efforts are non tax-deductible. Receipts will only be issued upon request.)

We call for your support towards the Singapore Red Cross (SRC)'s humanitarian response to the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that devastated Turkey and Syria. Your donation will go towards supporting the needs of those affected by the earthquake, including emergency shelter, first aid and food.

SRC has earlier pledged USD $50,000 each in humanitarian aid to the Turkish Red Crescent (TRC) and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) to directly support their ongoing relief efforts.

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives and injury, as well as damage to property and livelihoods, arising from the devastating disaster, and are committed to supporting the emergency relief and recovery operations," said Mr Benjamin William, Secretary General/CEO of Singapore Red Cross, "We hope the people of Singapore will support our fundraising appeal, to bring hope and help to affected communities in Turkey and Syria."

Please make a donation during this time of need.
