Current economic uncertainties are posing challenges for many families. The community and grassroots organisations (GROs) in Holland-Bukit Timah GRC and Bukit Panjang SMC have come together to provide additional help to particularly vulnerable residents in the form of a one-off distribution of $200 worth of supermarket vouchers per beneficiary household.

Blossom World Society, a voluntary welfare organisation headquartered in Bukit Timah Division, has pledged $64,000 towards this effort. This amount will be used to match donations from the community and individuals who wish to care and share. The target is to raise a total of $128,000, helping more than 640 beneficiary households.

Residents and individual out there who might wish to lend a helping hand to those who have less in these challenging times are invited to donate for a good cause to help fellow residents in need.
