About Us
We believe that our residents should enjoy life to the fullest encompassing gracious and healthy living, at the same time minimizing ill health and retaining maximum use of their physical and mental faculties.
Our Home started out at Bright Hill Road on 3 July 1983 providing residential care to 180 residents before shifting to our current location at 100 Punggol Field on 8 March 2013. It has been granted Institutions of Public Character (IPC) tax-exempt status since 15 June 1993.
We provide high quality round-the-clock nursing care to residents by professionally trained nurses, assistant nurses, nursing aides and healthcare attendants.
Our Programmes
1) Residential Care
We provide the frail and sick elderly who cannot be nursed at home or have no caregiver, 24/7.
2) Medical Treatment
Residential doctor provides medical services, review residents' medical record and issues.
3) Rehabilitation Service
a) Physiotherapy : To provide exercises to improve or maintain residents' physical conditions.
b) Occupational Therapy : To improve or maintain residents' cognition level, organize activities of daily living functions and engage them in different meaningful activities.
4) Pharmacy Service
NHG Pharmacist provides sachet packing, medication audit, training and consultation.
5) Dietary Management
Our Dietitian assess the needs of the resident dietary requirement, audit on food hygiene and food menu.
6) Mobile Dental Care
Residents are able to obtain dental treatment at our Home's doorstep.
7) Psychogeriatric Care
We aim to improve the functional status, behaviour and/or quality of our resident's life who display significant psychiatric or behavioural disturbance.
8) Speech therapy
Residents receives treatment for problems with speaking, language, and swallowing.
9) Recreational Activities
a) In-house activities like Bingo; music and movement; art therapy; cooking and flower arrangement.
b) Outdoor activities like shopping at the neighbourhood mall, visits to the local attractions.
