About Campaign
ends 31 Mar 2020, 11:59 PMIn honour of Hedy Yap's act of giving, donations will go toward BCF programmes and services including its Monthly Support Groups. BCF Support Groups provide a safe environment for people who have been affected by breast cancer to explore their emotions and ask questions to help them better cope with the disease. To date, BCF has served over 1,600 breast cancer survivors and their caregivers.
As founding member of BCF Mandarin Support Group, Hedy Yap shares: "I hope that my story will inspire and encourage more people to help the less privileged in order to create a more inclusive and cohesive society. Setbacks are a part of life however I wish to highlight that breast cancer does not have to be a life-threatening disease if detected early.
It is therefore very important to help spread the message that 'Early Detection Saves Lives, Saves Breasts'. Your kind generosity will go a long way towards supporting breast cancer awareness and BCF initiatives in order to help breast cancer survivors get on the road to recovery, restore their self-confidence, and regain footing in their lives.'
Together let's build a City of Good!

About the Charity
Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) is a social service agency with an IPC status. Our mission is to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. Set up in 1997, BCF is committed to raising awareness about breast cancer through talks, events and publications that advocate early detection through regular screening, as well as supporting survivors and their families through various befriending and training activities. As one of the few advocacy groups in the world with a Men's Support League that was integrated with Caregiver Support Group in year 2017, BCF aims to encourage greater male participation in society's fight against this affliction.
