About Campaign

ends 31 Dec 2021, 11:59 PM
The pink ribbon is an internationally-recognised symbol for breast cancer awareness and identifies with the breast cancer community. It also represents our solidarity for those diagnosed with breast cancer and serves as a reminder for women to do their monthly breast self-examination and regular mammogram screening for early detection.

This campaign is a rallying call to everyone with a mother, sister, wife, auntie, friend or colleague; to be more aware of breast cancer risks and to journey together with Breast Cancer Foundation to support this community.

One of the initiatives under this campaign is the Pink Ribbon Walk 2021 (Virtual Edition). The Pink Ribbon Walk will be organised from 1 Dec to 31 Dec 2021 to raise awareness and to encourage all to walk in solidarity with those afflicted with breast cancer, while living a healthy lifestyle.

Through this campaign, BCF hopes to raise funds to support the work that we do and also for low-income women.

About the Charity

Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) is a social service agency with an IPC status. Our mission is to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. Set up in 1997, BCF is committed to raising awareness about breast cancer through talks, events and publications that advocate early detection through regular screening, as well as supporting survivors and their families through various befriending and training activities. As one of the few advocacy groups in the world with a Men's Support League that was integrated with Caregiver Support Group in year 2017, BCF aims to encourage greater male participation in society's fight against this affliction.
