About Campaign
ends 30 Apr 2021, 11:59 PMIn line with World Health Day, we would like to encourage all women to take charge of your breast health by incorporating breast self-examination (BSE) as part of your self-care routine.
Today, Breast Cancer is leading killer disease for women in Singapore and around the world. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has recently announced that breast cancer has overtaken lung cancer as the most occurring cancer in the world. In Singapore 1 in 13 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 75. The good news is that early detection does save lives and dramatically increases the chance of a full recovery.
Do make time for self-care by making time for a BSE for 10 minutes every month. It will be the most important gift to yourself as a woman.
Please donate to support our work in spreading this life-saving message to every woman in Singapore.
About the Charity
Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) is a social service agency with an IPC status. Our mission is to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. Set up in 1997, BCF is committed to raising awareness about breast cancer through talks, events and publications that advocate early detection through regular screening, as well as supporting survivors and their families through various befriending and training activities. As one of the few advocacy groups in the world with a Men's Support League that was integrated with Caregiver Support Group in year 2017, BCF aims to encourage greater male participation in society's fight against this affliction.
