About Campaign
ends 31 Aug 2022, 11:59 PMNow the sole breadwinner of the family, Gopal was struggling to overcome financial challenges and attend to Sashi's needs at the same time. Hence, this case was brought to Boys' Town Sanctuary Care's attention. At that point, Gopal was overwhelmed with caregiver fatigue, but he only requested for respite care on weekends for Sashi so that he could continue working to support him. Gopal shared with the Sanctuary Care social worker that there were times when he felt low and had suicidal thoughts last year but the only thing that kept him going was and still is Sashi.
Sanctuary Care has helped Gopal navigate difficult times by providing a helping hand with child-rearing so that Gopal could take the time needed to care for himself. Gopal is deeply appreciative of the assistance rendered by Sanctuary Care and eagerly looks forward to the day when his wife returns to them.
Be a part of our journey in giving children like Sashi a stable and loving home environment.

About the Charity
Boys' Town is a charity founded by the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel in 1948. We first began as a residential care for war-torn orphans, imparting education and life skills to them. Over the years, we have expanded to provide a continuum of services serving children and youth in-need. Boys' Town's services now include residential care, fostering, youth outreach, adventure therapy and clinical intervention.
Boys' Town serves both boys and girls, from infants to young adults. We help children and youth who come from disadvantaged and disengaged families who may have faced hardship resulting from difficult home situations, financial struggles, abandonment, and abuse. Each year, Boys' Town works with over 1,000 children and youths.
With 74 years dedicated to the social mission, Boys' Town equips the children and youths in need with the skills they need to become socially integrated, responsible and contributing members of society.
All qualifying donations are eligible for 250% tax deduction (if applicable).
