About Campaignends 31 Dec 2021, 11:59 PM
This Christmas we want to invite you to bless 16 seniors and help fulfil their specific needs. Most of the seniors who wish for the above list of items stay in rental blocks and have no children to help provide for them. Many of them also face mobility issues.
Some of their wish items include mattresses, washing machine, mobile phone for the visually impaired, refrigerator, wheelchair, shower chair, standing fans, etc.
Mdm Tang, 67 years old, is recovering from cervical neck operation. She is also the main caregiver to her husband Mr Chua who is bedbound. The elderly couple are dependent on SSO assistance for financial sustenance. Mdm Tang would like to have a new 2 door refrigerator as her current one is more than 10 years old. It is not working well.
Bless a home this Christmas and help fulfil the wishes of 16 seniors.
Should there be any unused funds left after purchasing the senior's wish items, funds will be channelled to Bethesda Care Services programmes and services so that we can continue to serve our beneficiaries, the low-income families, youths, children and seniors.
