About Campaign

Beautiful People began with the simple idea that dreams matter. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we are now in eight partner homes and have invested in the dreams of more than 800 young men and women. Our vision continues to guide us, as we endeavor to make every dream a possibility.

Built upon the belief that 'We are a relationship, not a programme', our mandate continues to evolve with the needs of our communities. Our dedicated volunteers have powered much of our growth, advancing our cause of nurturing purposeful relationships between volunteer mentors and their mentees. From just one befriender programme under Beyond Social Services in 2006, we now offer ten diverse mentoring programmes, from serving teenage girls and boys in rehabilitation homes, to inmates in Changi Women's Prison and young mums with toddlers.

We ask for your support in making the dreams of our mentees a reality, by helping us to empower and transform more lives.

Because Our Dreams Matter.

About the Charity

Mentoring. It is the simple idea that dreams come true because of someone who believes in the one who dreams. This one simple idea has seen us walk into residential rehabilitation homes, schools, living rooms and behind prison bars, to touch the lives of those who have become our family. Beautiful People, started in 2006, is a volunteer movement dedicated to building mentoring relationships that support young women and men, exploring the idea of freedom within and without, and helping them realise their dreams. We are a relationship, not a programme. We refuse to be constrained by the boundaries of fixed programme durations. We celebrate the ordinary everyday heroes who are the mentors and mentees, growing together in an extraordinary journey of challenging their own limits. Our philosophy of support translates into a powerful experience for growth and self-discovery through a combination of life-skills training, mentoring, and coaching.
