About Campaignends 30 Sep 2021, 11:59 PM
This project was activated during the Covid-19 pandemic. The team wanted to extend practical help to the vulnerable and disadvantaged families through distribution of essential food items and care packages which included surgical masks. This project also covers the transportation costs of moving preowned furniture such as beds and mattresses, study tables, wardrobe, dining sets. Our beneficiaries had been blessed with good working condition electrical appliances like fridges, washing machines, ovens, fans from people who had donated their preloved items.
BCCS provided interim financial aid for those who lost employment and required help during this period. We foresee a rise in applications for Covid relief for the disadvantaged families. We hope you would partner BCCS to be that Hope Giver and lend a helping hand to the disadvantaged. Together, we can spur individuals and families who had been adversely affected by life's challenges to come out stronger.
*Appropriate help/financial assistance would be rendered to eligible individuals/families based on needs assessment.
** Funds raised for the LCC project are earmarked as designated funds during the Covid-19 period. For any funds that is not utilised for Covid relief under the LCC Project, BCCS would thereby channel the remaining LCC funds (post-Covid times) to run our existing programmes and services which also serve the disadvantaged children, youth, families and elderly in the community.
About the Charity
BCCS provides programmes and services to help the low-income/disadvantaged in the community. We hope to touch their hearts and lives through our personal care and attention. We walk with those in need to give them hope, to get them out of their seemingly helpless predicament, and spur them on in their journey to build their lives with dignity.
Our family-based services and programmes are founded on the belief that every individual deserves a chance to reach his/her potential. BCCS works on the premise that we who are blessed are to share the blessings with those less fortunate in our society through practical help for them. Through our literacy, mentoring, skills training and other family programmes, we reach out to children, youths, seniors and families who are disadvantaged by their circumstances.
