About Basketball Association of Singapore

The Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS) is the National governing body for basketball in Singapore. It is recognized by both Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) and SportSG for the promotion of basketball in Singapore.
BAS works very closely with SportSG, SNOC, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), schools, the media, basketball fraternity and other major stakeholders for the development of basketball in Singapore.

Our Mission:

* To increase participation at all levels.
* To develop the game to a competitive elite sport
* To rejuvenate interests and contribute to the pride and economy of our nation

BAS is recognised as a Charity and an Institution of Public Character (IPC).

About BAS Campaigns

As part of Basketball Association of Singapore's (BAS) commitment toward Sporting Excellence, BAS welcome any form of support and contribution toward our effort for the development of the sport of basketball in Singapore.

Your valuable contributions will allow us to plan for meaningful and quality programmes and activities such as our domestic tournaments, youth development and high performance in line with our vision to develop basketball as the team sport of choice for participation, public interest and ultimately steer toward sporting excellence for our National Teams.

Cash donations made to BAS are eligible for 250% times tax deduction, in line with Internal Revenue Authority of Singapore's regulations.

Donations made toward the cause may also allow BAS to qualify and match for the One Team Singapore Fund (OTSF) Scheme, to enhance the High Performance system for Team Singapore athletes.
