About Campaign

AWWA began 50 years ago, with Mrs Shakuntala Bhatia and Mrs Vimala Kulasekaram's simple passion and heart for the needy in Singapore.

Along with other founding members, they identified gaps in the community and delivered much needed services to help the disadvantaged in society, starting with distributing rations to low income families. Their goal was to empower the marginalised and socially disadvantaged, enabling them to lead dignified and independent lives.

Today, our clients consist of children with special needs, disadvantaged youths, families in need, and frail and vulnerable seniors.

In the midst of the COVID 19 situation, AWWA stays committed towards our mission to empower the disadvantaged and will ensure they receive the help required.

We invite you to continue the legacy of love that was built by AWWA's founders. Enable AWWA to continue making a difference in the lives of those in need!
