About Campaign

ends 30 Sep 2022, 11:59 PM
Both ArtsWok and Drama Box are arts charities whose work impacts diverse communities. We are collaborators and co-presenters for Both Sides, Now since 2013, and separately present other productions and programmes.

ArtsWok (www.artswok.org) endeavors to develop community creatively by adopting arts approaches to tackle thorny social issues, and enabling communities to realise, and tap on their own agency and imagination to create the change they want to see. They also provide training and thought leadership related to arts-based community development. Other flagship programmes include The Greenhouse Lab and The Greenhouse Sessions, as well as the former M1 Peer Pleasure Youth Theatre Festival.

Being a socially-engaged theatre company, Drama Box (www.dramabox.org) is known for creating works that inspire dialogue, reflection and change. By shining a spotlight on marginalised narratives and making space for the communal contemplation of complex issues, it seeks to tell stories that provoke a deeper understanding of Singapore's culture, history and identity. Their recent significant programmes include The Lesson, the IgnorLAND series and SCENES: Participatory Practices. Drama Box also built "GoLi" - the first inflatable theatre in Singapore that brings the arts to different community spaces.

*The donations collected from this campaign will be shared equally between both organisations. (Tax deduction receipts will be issued by ArtsWok Collaborative)
