About Campaign

ends 05 Dec 2017, 11:59 PM
From tables to shelves, fans to fridge, our humble space only became a home because of the collective goodwill of our friends and supporters - an entire office spruced up with gifted furniture and appliances from lovely individuals. With a small team like ours, we can only think bigger because of a community of people backing us. For that, we are immensely grateful.

With our office all decked out, we would like to invite you into our cosy space in an office-warming-cum-fundraiser!

There will be a delicious spread of food (halal), a BBQ live station, and a participatory activity where we welcome your contribution to an art piece that will take pride of place in our office. But more than anything, we would love to catch up with you over a casual dinner.

Venue: Goodman Arts Centre, Blk B #03-07

About the Charity

At ArtsWok, we develop community creatively by adopting arts approaches to tackle thorny social issues, and enabling communities to realise, and tap on their own agency and imagination to create the change they want to see.

We work with communities of all ages, in various settings, and on issues ranging from poverty, end-of-life, governance and nationhood, community building, and the well-being of seniors. We also provide training and thought leadership related to arts-based community development work.

Our collaborators include artists and creatives, community groups, VWOs, schools, hospitals, research and training institutions, cultural institutions, foundations, corporates and government bodies.
