The Aliwal Urban Art Festival is an annual celebration of Singapore cool. Organised by Aliwal Arts Centre, it features the best Singapore-based artists including DJs and bands, both established and emerging, in a range of genres inspired by international street culture - from graffiti to graphic art, rock to afro-beat, skateboarding to break-dancing. The fourth edition of this unique festival will kick off in January 2017. Partnering with local artists and partners, the festival will showcase a unique exhibition, many exciting performances and activities.

As a non-profit organization that does not receive large public funding, we depend on the generosity of donors such as yourself to present meaningful programmes for our youths. Your gift will ensure that arts centres such as Aliwal, remains sustainable and continues to support the development of our local young artists.

About the Charity

Arts House Ltd (AHL) is a not-for-profit organisation committed to enriching lives through the arts. AHL is the cultural place manager of Singapore's Civic District. It manages 2 key national monuments - The Arts House and the Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall. It also runs performing arts space Drama Centre as well as the Goodman Arts Centre and Aliwal Arts Centre, two creative enclaves for artists, arts groups and creative businesses.

AHL organises the Singapore International Festival of Arts as well as the Singapore Writers Festival. In addition, AHL manages the showcase on Singapore's Cultural Medallion recipients at The Arts House.

AHL was set up on 11 December 2002 as a public company limited by guarantee under the National Arts Council and was officially renamed Arts House Limited on 19 March 2014.
