About DECK

DECK is an arts centre for photography founded in 2014 on the collective effort of a group of passionate artists, designers, public members, and like-minded people. DECK's first container-building at 120A Prinsep Street was made possible because of the goodwill shown towards it by those who shared our vision for an independent art space.

Today, DECK enters a new phase of growth to build a brick and mortar arts building for photography at Prinsep Street. Our goal is to champion photography arts that matter in our life; DECK embodies possibilities and represents the diversity in an ecosystem that is shaping the arts in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

About the Charity

Art Photography Centre Ltd (APC) is a charity and an Institution of a Public Character. APC operates as the arts organisation DECK and is the festival organiser of Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF).

DECK was established in 2014 with the mission of supporting and nurturing the community of photographers and artists in Singapore and Southeast Asia. This modular site acts as a connector between community and photography, and offers a platform for people to celebrate photography in the heart of Singapore. Driven by the belief that photography is for all, it welcomes professionals and amateurs to come together, mingle and be inspired. (www.deck.sg)

SIPF function as a key platform to discover, nurture, and propel Southeast Asian photographers onto the international stage. At the core of SIPF is a firm belief that photography can be enjoyed by all. The upcoming 8th edition of SIPF will take place from 15 Sept 2022 to 30 Oct 2022. (www.sipf.sg)
