About Campaign

From juggling multiple responsibilities to taming the demands of caregiving and work, being a mother can sometimes feel like an uphill battle - one that many of our Bakery Hearts beneficiaries know all too well.

That's why Bakery Hearts' (BH) training programme plays an integral role in equipping vulnerable women in the community (such as low-income mothers and caregivers) with relevant skills and experience to secure meaningful employment, so they can provide for the people they love.

One such beneficiary is Mdm Lu, a mother of two who gave up a stable source of income to become the primary caregiver of her children. Struggling to sustain a job while balancing her caregiving duties, Mdm Lu enrolled in Bakery Hearts. Her newfound baking skills opened new possibilities for her to find suitable employment, while providing opportunities for her to bond with her children.

Your contribution to the Bakery Hearts Empowerment Fund will help to support our beneficiaries with their training allowance, learning resources and baking equipment, as well as other necessities for a holistic training experience.

With your support, we can continue empowering vulnerable women, like Mdm Lu, to better take on the challenges that come with being a mother figure, enabling them to build a better future for themselves and their families.

From 24 May to 31 August, all donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar under Tote Board's Enhanced Fundraising Grant. Make double the impact today!
