About Campaignends 18 May 2018, 11:59 PM
Registered as society on 24 May 2001, we have come a long way campaigning against the illegal wildlife trade, lobbying for legislative changes in animal protection, educating and mentoring the young and old, and saving animals in Singapore and beyond.
This gala will commemorate our achievements as we push the boundaries further as an animal protection organisation in Singapore. We do not expect everyone to love all animals, but the things we say or do directly impacts them:
- Not buying that pair of snakeskin shoe makes a statement against the animal skin industry;
- Telling a child that all snakes will attack them instills fear and distrust over wild animals;
- Reporting an online illegal sale of an exotic pet is speaking up for that animal and those of its kind;
- Saying 'no' to paid photos with a wildlife is telling the captive animal industry that you don't stand for animal exploitation.
Our singular actions make an impact for sure, like how little drops of water make a mighty ocean!
Please stand with us to give animals a voice. Join us for our Charity Gala!

ACRES is a pioneering Singapore-based charity with a sole aim to advocate for an end to animal cruelty in Asia. We have five focus areas: Tackling Wildlife Crime, Humane Education, Promoting Cruelty-Free Living, Community Outreach, and Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation. Since our founding in May 2001, ACRES has helped effect several environmental shifts that pushed Singapore forward in the animal protection movement. Alongside collaborative efforts with governmental agencies, we seek to nurture a responsible society from grassroots level to the individual homes where animals are treated with compassion and respect.
