A Fabulous Fundraiser with Kevin Burke & Friends
by WILD RICE Ltd
On November 3rd, I will be performing at the Wild Rice theatre in Singapore raising much needed funds for this wonderful not-for-profit organisation, whose mission is to provide an open forum for the shared experience of theatre - celebrating our diversity; reflecting on the problems and possibilities of our times; and presenting productions that inspire, challenge and entertain. The theatre extends deep into the Singapore community nurturing talent from 5 years old. They also allow middle aged bankers to occasionally let their hair down for a great cause! So I would massively appreciate any donations in aid of this theatre, which like many organisations, has had its challenges during Covid, but hopefully is now emerging out of this difficult period. Thank you! Dollar Match: Season Of Giving
by Canossaville Children and Community Services
All donations to the Season of Giving campaign shall be eligible for dollar matching by the Singapore Government and Tote Board up to cap of $250,000 per charity. Every year, we all look forward to a special occasion. For some it could be a birthday, for others, a festive season such as Christmas. While we all celebrate these special occasions in our own ways, many also choose to give and share with others who need a little bit more help. At Canossaville Children and Community Services, our programmes and services are open to our children and their families all year round, with priority given to those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Education is at the core of what we do and our Canossian Circle of Care provides the supporting structure to children through a preschool, after-school care as well as a child development unit. This can only be made possible with the support of donors like yourself. We advocate for sustainable giving all year round to support all our programmes and services. In reality, donors tend to only donate at the end of the year during the season of giving. We acknowledge this and humbly seek your kind support for us to build up enough donations to sustain our programmes and services through the year. Thank you for not forgetting us during this season of giving. Your special thoughts warm the hearts of our children and their families under our care.

GOAL Sponsorship Scheme (SNTC GOAL Campaign)
by Special Needs Trust Co Ltd
Gift Of A Lifetime (GOAL) helps a parent purchase a $100,000 term plan for proceeds to be paid into the child's SNTC trust account upon demise of the parent. GOAL has two parts: 1. It sponsors the initial $5,000 deposit to set up an SNTC trust account for the child. 2. The parent follows a plan to top-up the trust account in order to receive up to $5,000 in matching donations. These funds are then used to pay the premium of a term policy, the Great Eastern Cares Term Plan ("GE Cares Term") on a parent's life. As part of their corporate social responsibility, Great Eastern is underwriting the GE Cares Term Policy at very special premium rates and without any commission, to help lower-income parents to provide for their children with special needs. Through a combination of the parent's top-up to the child's trust account and the matching donations, the trust fund will be able to pay for the insurance premiums. SNTC does not receive referral fees from Great Eastern on the GE Cares Term or any other insurance products. The GE Cares Term is offered on a non-advisory basis. This campaign qualifies for Tote Board's $-for-$ Enhanced Fund-Raising Programme Grant up to $250,000. If you prefer to donate via bank transfer or cheque, please download our GOAL Donation Form for details: https://bit.ly/GOALDonationForm For more information, please download the GOAL brochure: https://bit.ly/SNTCGOALBrochure
Literacy Support for Jega
by DYSLEXIA ASSOCIATION OF SINGAPORE
Jega is 40 years old and has dyslexia. He is a participant in the Mediacorp documentary, “Write of Passage”, which showcased him receiving life-changing literacy intervention over a 3-month period. Our work with Jega highlighted the need for him to receive a longer period of intervention on top of the 3-months he received. DAS would recommend that Jega receive a further 24-months of support so that he can achieve his life and employment goals. Jega was selected for intervention at DAS where he underwent a psychological assessment and was diagnosed with dyslexia in May 2021. He had specialist intervention at DAS International for 20 x 1.5hr sessions from 25 May to 11 August 2021. We are delighted with Jega's progress and his enthusiasm to learn. His progress was very encouraging, and we are impressed with what he has been able to achieve in this short period of intervention which has revealed his true potential in learning. However, his 30 hours of literacy intervention for the documentary series only highlighted the necessity for continued support after the completion of these 20 sessions. Jega's continued learning journey is critical for his desire to become an independent person and not allow his dyslexia to stand in the way of his life aspirations. It is unfortunate that Jega received his basic education at a time when dyslexia was little known and effective forms of intervention for the condition was not provided for in mainstream school. Nonetheless, it is

by Causes For Animals (Singapore) Limited
'BOWLS' is back! Our annual BOWLS appeal took a hiatus last year but we are excited to restart the appeal to raise funds for medical and food in aid of street and shelter animals. Rescuing an animal is not the end of the road, it is the very first step. The work of treating the animals' illness and rehabilitating them to fit into a home environment can take months and sometimes years. Through the process, the animals will need food and medical support. Our new facility allows us to continue actively with our Stray Management Scheme which is in line with the nationwide TNRM programme. We hope to continue to have the means to gradually take dogs off the streets and place them in loving homes to call their own in due time. With more funds, we will also be able to feed more hungry animals and medicate more ill and injured street or shelter animals in need.

GIFT children with cancer HOPE & STRENGTH to live their very best, one day at a time
by JL KAH for LOVE, NILS LTD.
A cancer diagnosis is shocking, often paralyzing, and more so traumatic for the child & the whole family. Suddenly, their world seems upside down. Lots of 'why' running through the head, lots of challenges waiting ahead. LOVE, NILS provides emotional, social & community support to children with cancer & caregivers. Their primary effort is providing care coordinators to guide patients & caregivers through the healthcare system. They also provide support through integrative therapies, home and school visits, educational talks, identifying financial resources, facilitating communication with healthcare providers, and more. They help patients understand their diagnosis & any other concerns that may arise. LOVE NILS also provides programmes and initiatives via Education Support (one-to-one weekly tutoring sessions), Open Art Support (weekly sessions at NUH & KKH to help children and their family express emotions which might not be easy for them to verbalise), Xploro Health (health information platform that uses augmented reality, gameplay and artificial intelligence to deliver health information to young patients), T-Shirt Masterpiece Program (patients create their masterpiece, which is then printed onto t-shirts for the children to keep) and more. Your generous support can ensure that LOVE, NILS continues this life-changing work. Thank you very much for gifting children with cancer HOPE & STRENGTH to live their very best, one day at a time.
